okay.  so we listened to these simultaneously - one revolving in the corner of the dining room, the other twisting itself around the cogs on the back wall of the kitchen. it was a great, hazy, comforting afternoon - there being no dead spots in the flat. and the next day we heard more. going backwards i suppose. 

STILL NO CLOSER ...to finalising which records i've enjoyed the most this year. i bought two copies of 
this last week - one for me and one for liz's dad - maybe i'll keep his as back-up.           cds aren't really doing it for me at the mo especially as one of my
oldest friends skipped out on me in the car today. i just recently splashed out on new
turntable and my records are sounding peachy. next up: fresh speaker wire.

mate. 10 of each wont work. i've been sat here for 10mins listening to hibernaculum (2007 poll?!) and i've already been making notes - so much stuff i've been absorbing or even things just half listened to jumping out at me. been a good year for discovering and listening to music. mp3 cd player in the kitchen is a revelation - together with cooking more. and the short-lived jogplan got me back into trainers , u.s harcore, x and boombox punk...
